Robert M. Hinkle, DDS
SPECIALIZING IN THE ART OF MINIMALLY INVASIVE SURGERY
Dentistry is Dr. Hinkle’s destiny. For more than 28 years, he has practiced the dental arts with vigor, integrity, and compassion for his patients, just like his father – also a dentist, instilled in him. Deeply rooted in central Ohio, Dr. Hinkle was raised in Upper Arlington, educated at Denison University, and graduated with honors from The Ohio State University College of Dentistry. Intensive specialty training in oral and maxillofacial surgery at Charity Hospital in New Orleans and Louisiana State University Medical Center in Shreveport prepared him for the most challenging cases. The American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery first certified Dr. Hinkle in 1992 – and he has remained Board Certified ever since. The American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery demonstrated their respect for his skills by inviting Dr. Hinkle to serve as one of only 80 board examiners nationwide. A lifetime learner and educator, Dr. Hinkle has authored more than a dozen professional articles and academic book chapters and presented more than 50 lectures nationally and internationally on advanced oral surgical and dental implant techniques. Dr. Hinkle shares his love of teaching with the OMFS residents at The Ohio State University College of Dentistry. Dr. Hinkle is founder and director of the The Excellence in Dentistry Study Club.
He resides in Hilliard, Ohio with his wife Fran.
